BUG: Floating Text Shifts Improperly During Editing

Symptoms

During the score creation process, floating text items shift to improper locations in the score.

More Information

The shifting problem occurs whenever staves and notes are added/edited/deleted, and whenever the Score Polisher tool is run.

Cause

Coding bug.

Resolution

The best thing to do when using floating text in 1.7 is to add the text after the entire score has been completed.
